PQS vs Contractor QS
Hi All,

First post after only lengthy periods viewing and soaking in information.

I am a 29 year old male currently 2 years into my 3 of the FdSc Construction Management course, where I am then looking to join onto the last 2 years of the Quantity Surveying BSc.

The aim eventually is to then do my APC to become chartered in Quantity Surveying.

I just want to gather the thoughts and opinions on the differences, pros and cons and overall view of 'Contractor QS' vs 'PQS' (construction consultancy) and which is best on helping obtain the APC and is there difficulties in switching between the two later on in your career?

I'm not going to say which I'm currently involved for now either Wink

Thanks for reading, looking forward to gathering some views and opinions!
